JWJ Collectibles started in the most American way possible—by getting yelled at by my wife! Really, that’s how it all began. As it says on the back of our business card:

I’m excited to share my personal collection of authentic sports, movie, and music signatures with fellow fans and collectors. Each piece holds a special memory, and now I’m offering them to others who will appreciate and enjoy them as much as I have.

You see, I’ve always been a collector. It runs in the family. My grandfather was a collector—stamps, rocks, all kinds of things—and he used to take my brother and me to collector shows. We loved it! My brother and I were always in a friendly competition to see who could find the coolest things, whether toys, cards, or rare memorabilia.

That passion never left me. So, when I had my own kids, I started taking them to collector shows and comic cons. We bonded over getting autographs from the characters they loved on TV, and before I knew it, our collection had grown.

And then… reality set in. Our house became a shrine to our collectibles. Every wall, every shelf—full. That’s when my wife put her foot down. “Enough is enough! We don’t have space for all this anymore. You have to sell some of it.”

Reluctantly, I did. And just like that, JWJ Collectibles was born! Funny enough, what started as a reluctant decision became a true family business. My wife, who once said we had too much, now loves learning about the items we sell. My kids, who once helped collect, now sell their own collectibles as they outgrow them.

What began as a personal passion has become something even bigger—a way for us to share incredible items with fellow collectors. We’re excited to bring you a curated selection of unique and authentic collectibles, and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
